Scroll down to click on classroom choices.

For TEENS residing in or attending school in Eden Prairie.
Students may enroll for a class if they will be 15 years of age by the last day of class. The first phase of Driver Education consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction taught by a state certified instructor who is also a licensed teacher with the Minnesota Board of Education. After the student has successfully completed 30 hours, and is registered in our behind-the-wheel program, he/she may take the knowledge test and apply for a permit. Please read the paragraphs below. Click in the grey box below to register.

A contract/agreement will be mailed to each registered student that will need to be signed and returned at the first day of class.

Students may choose between two convenient payment options:

  • Pay the class fee of $110 at time of registration and the remaining $300 by the due date listed on the student agreement. This second payment can be made on-line by clicking on "My Account" and logging into your students account and clicking on the "Schedule" tab. (The account balance should show what is owed.) Find the drivers education class & click on the date. From there you will be able to add the charge/payment to the shopping cart & go to "checkout" to pay the remaining balance, OR
  • Save $11 by registering for behind-the-wheel lessons for teens at the same time as class registration. Select the $399 fee if paid together.

Click on the grey box below for dates & to register.

The second phase of Driver Education provides 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction which starts after the student has passed his/her permit test. Once the student has completed 6 hours of behind-the-wheel, is 16 years of age, and has had their permit for at least six months, he/she may take the road test for his/her drivers license.
